BTS • Back to Bledi: Tangier
This past February, I had the unforgettable experience of traveling to Tangier, Morocco my home town, to film my debut music video and work on new song content. What started as a creative mission quickly turned into one of the most inspiring, exciting, and joy-filled trips I’ve ever taken.
From the moment we landed, Tangier welcomed us with its vibrant energy, rich culture, and breathtaking backdrops. The city is a beautiful collision of old-world charm and modern edge—exactly the kind of vibe I wanted for this project. We scouted and shot at multiple locations, from the historic medina to dramatic coastal cliffs, sunlit rooftops, and hidden alleyways draped in colorful tiles and tapestries. Each spot brought a different emotion to the visuals, helping the music come to life in a whole new way.
The days were long, but not once did they feel like work. The team I brought with me—friends, creatives, and collaborators—put their hearts into every moment. We were on the move constantly, chasing the perfect light, getting spontaneous with shots, and laughing through the chaos. It was pure magic.
And then, when the cameras were off, Tangier kept delivering. Our evenings were filled with incredible dinners—fresh seafood, traditional tagines, and rooftop spots with views that went on forever. We danced, explored local hangouts, and soaked in the city’s unique nightlife. It wasn’t just about the project anymore; it was about the memories we were making together.
Everyone involved gave their all, and the chemistry we had as a group was unreal. There was this shared energy that made the entire experience flow. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to kick off this chapter of my music career—or better people to share it with.
Tangier has always been my second home but this specific trip changed me. It reminded me of the power of place, people, and creativity when they all align. You have now begun to see what we created and I hope you all love it, I’ll always hold onto the feeling of that trip—the laughter, the inspiration, the late-night talks, and the magic of chasing a dream in a city like no other.
