Rocco is a Moroccan-British artist born and raised in East London. From an early age, his love for music was shaped by the rich sounds of his surroundings. Growing up in London, he was heavily influenced by the Garage and Grime scenes, while also drawing inspiration from across the Atlantic, where American R&B and Hip-Hop left a lasting impact.

However, it was his time spent in Morocco—his homeland—that truly shaped his musical identity. Summers filled with the rhythms of Chaabi, Rai, and Gnawa became the backdrop of his performances for family and friends, igniting a passion for blending cultures through sound.

Bringing together these diverse influences, Rocco has crafted a distinct fusion of R&B vocals and melodies with Afrobeats, seamlessly weaving Moroccan Arabic and English into his music. With this unique sound, he is paving the way for a new wave in Morocco’s evolving music scene.
